About me
Norbert K. Wojtysiak – cinematographer and photographer, born in Goleniów in 1994. Winner of the 2024 Jantar Award for Best Cinematography for the film “Mandala” at the 43rd Koszalin Youth and Film Festival.
He honed his cinematographic skills by working on the biggest film productions in Poland. In recent years, he has collaborated on film productions with Wojciech Smarzowski, Leszek Bodzak (KOS, Corpus Christi, The Last Family), Piotr Sobociński Jr., PSC (Corpus Christi), and Klaudiusz Dwulit, PSC (Furioza). He attended lectures by Sławomir Idziak (Black Hawk Down, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix). His entire filmography includes about 40 film productions.
His series of street photography from New York, shot using analog techniques, has been recognized by international photography websites.
When creating images, he follows unconventional patterns. He employs irregularity in the visual aesthetic. His extensive professional experience translates into his work, immersing viewers in the world of the story being told through appropriate technical means.
Privately, he is a fan of airplanes and everything related to space.
